What do the numbers mean?
Every number comes from the results you send us and is computed by fixed rules, the same way every time. With a photo, you confirm every value before it is saved.

What is Karting Crew Chief: Rental?
Karting Crew Chief: Rental is a web app that keeps all your rental karting results in one place. Send your results by email or as a photo of the printed timesheet, and see every lap, your personal bests, your consistency and your progress across tracks.
How do I track my rental kart lap times?
After each session, forward the results email from the track to [email protected]. If the track gives you a printout, take a photo of the timesheet and email it to the same address, or upload it in the app.
My track gives me a printout, not an email. Can I still use it?
Yes. Take a photo of the printed timesheet and email it to [email protected], or upload it in the app. You check the values before they are saved.
How long does it take to see my data?
Seconds. As soon as your email or photo arrives, the session appears with every lap of everyone in it.
Where do the comparisons come from?
All comparisons and data are based on the results you share with us. KCC only knows the sessions you send, and only compares you with drivers who appear in those sessions.
Do I need a credit card for the free month?
No. Every new account gets 1 month free, with every feature included and no credit card required.
Can I track my children or my team?
Yes. Add as many drivers as you look after to one account, whether that is yourself, one or several children, or a team you train. Each driver has their own history, and you can compare your drivers side by side.
Can I compare myself with other drivers?
Yes. Head to head compares you with anyone who drove in the same sessions as you: who finished ahead, the median best-lap gap and the trend. You can also compare your own sessions on the same track over time.
Can I set goals?
Yes. Set a target, such as a lap time on a track, and see how close you get after every session.
Which tracks work?
Tracks that email results through Apex Timing work by forwarding the email. Tracks that hand out printed timesheets work with a photo. New tracks are added to your account from your results. If your track is missing, request it in the app. [Supported track list to confirm.]
What happens after the free month?
Choose a plan to keep sending results: €7.99 a month or €79 a year, VAT included, for every driver on the account. Without a plan, every session you already have stays readable and new results wait in your KCC inbox.
Does it work for league and championship races?
Yes, if the track that hosts the race emails you the result. That includes rental series such as the Sodi World Series. KCC does not import series points or rankings and is not affiliated with any series.
Is there telemetry for rental karts?
Rental karts rarely carry a data logger you can use. KCC works from the lap times your track emails, which already show your pace, consistency and progress.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
KCC is a web app at rental.kartingcrewchief.com. It works in the browser on a phone, a tablet and a desktop. There is nothing to install.
Who can see my laps?
There is no public driver pool. Drivers see each other only if they raced in the same session, and only by the nickname the track printed. Export your data as JSON and CSV, or delete your account at any time. Hosted in the EU. Drivers under 16 need a parent or guardian to create the account.
